ARC International Employees Earn Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

ARC International announced that thirteen employees have earned their Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certifications from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC). Micheal Foran, ARC's President & CEO, said "This graduation marks a key milestone in ARC's continued initiative to build its Six Sigma manufacturing infrastructure. This program is taking place in parallel with the design and rollout of an enhanced Total Quality Management System. Together, these initiatives give ARC the skill sets and tools needed to embark on an aggressive program to increase our organization's productivity and enhance quality."

Williamson Printing Materials Limited

ARC International, headquartered in Charlotte, NC, is pleased to announce that Williamson Printing Materials Limited in Grimsby, Ontario, has signed an agreement to represent ARC in the sale of corrugated roller products in Ontario, Quebec and the Maritime provinces. Micheal Foran, ARC President and CEO stated, "We are extremely pleased to be affliated with Williamson Printing Materials Ltd. They have served the Canadian graphic arts industry for sixty years and are well-respected in the marketplace." Williamson will represent ARC's full line of corrugated roller products which include their Hypersonic Hybrid laser engraved anilox rollers, rubber wiper and feed rollers, plate and impression cylinders, glue applicator and metering rollers and corrugator knife rollers.

Terry Hufhand Joins ARC International as General Manager

Terry comes to ARC International with a lot of experience in leadership development, team building, budgeting, lean manufacturing and multi-location management. Terry is an accomplished Operations Executive with proven track record, working for L.A. Darling (Marmon/Berkshire Hathaway Company). Terry has Lean 6 Sigma and 6S experience.

ARC International at SuperCorrExpo
At the TAPPI/AICC SuperCorrExpo in Atlanta (September 30th to October 5th at the Georgia World Congress Center), ARC International (booth 2830), with plants in Charlotte, NC and Las Vegas, NV, will display its Hypersonic Hybrid Premium Laser engraving technology, which includes the 70 degree HV Extended Cell pattern with an expended volume range. In additon to their anilox rollers, ARC will display its full line of converting products: single and dual durometer feed rollers, anti-slip feed rollers, wiper rollers, print and impression cylinders. For the corrugator, glue, meter, pressure and knife roller surfaces will also be highlighted. For the fifth consecutive year, ARC International will serve as Platinum sponsor for the annual corrugated event.
