Univercell™ Laser Rolls
We introduced Univercell™ solid-state thermal YAG laser technology in 1997. Combining this exceptional process with ARC’s unique chromium oxide coatings, as well as other exclusive coatings, has made Univercell™ laser technology the standard for consistent cell geometry and repeatability on high line count engravings and volumes. Multi-pulse laser engraving on each cell vaporizes rather than displaces the ceramic material. The result? Printmaster™ Mechanically Engraved Rolls
The key factor in achieving the right amount of glue for single facer and double backer applicator rolls is choosing the right type of roll finish. Our glue-roll technology offers the option of engraved tooling or matte finish. All ARC rolls are precision ground to achieve the lowest TIR and exacting taper. Fabricated in-house by exacting craftsmen, we will customize tooling to suit your application with engravings that range from 16 to 65 Quad. Chrome or stainless surface and matte finish are available. Smart Chip RFID implants are available on ARC’s Printmaster™ Mechanically Engraved rolls to provide accurate roll identification and historical record.
